Below is a photo of the Climate Action Carnival. The Carnival attracted over 300 people to the High School on October 24, 2009. By spelling out the number 350, we sent a strong message that we must adopt a science-based plan to address the climate crisis, and reduce the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere to 350 parts per million (ppm). It is presently at 370 ppm, up from 220 when the industrial revolution began.  CO2 in our atmosphere is higher than it has been in over 10 million years. The Climate Action Carnival was Co-sponsored by Greening Greenfield.
