Learn how to cut your energy bills.
According to the Greenfield Energy Audit, in 2008 Greenfield residents, town buildings and businesses spent over $87 million on energy and each of us emitted 19.5 tons of climate change emissions. Of the money we spent on energy, $65 million went out of our community to pay for gasoline, heating oil, and natural gas. If you join the Greenfield 10% Challenge, you will help Greenfield meets its immediate goal of engaging 10% of the residents and businesses in reducing their energy use by 10% by the end of 2010. Additionally, you will save money and help Greenfield reach its long term goal to reduce climate change emissions 80% below 2000 levels by 2050…and keep our energy dollars in the region.
When you take the challenge you receive a beautiful “lawn sign,” and an energy tip each month.
Give us less than 15 minutes of your time and we’ll
show you a simple way to save money and save the planet, too.
