Action sub-committees:
Public Education Contact: Becca King 773-7004 Meetings: 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
This sub-committee develops and implements programs in Greenfield that aim to foster learning opportunities and inspire residents and business people to take action and work together to create a greener future.
Scholastic Education Contact: Wisty Rorabacher, 413-773-9080 Meetings: 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm.
This sub-committee works with public and private schools in Greenfield, including K-12 and the Greenfield Community College, to ensure that future generations are offered the tools they need to help make Greenfield, and the world, a greener place to live.
Business Development Contact: Susan Worgaftik
This sub-committee aims to foster green businesses and green business opportunities in the community. The Greenfield Business Association joined as a partner in June 2009.
Government Relations Contact: Nancy Hazard 413-774-5667
This sub-committee is the liaison with the Town of Greenfield. It also brings regional, state, and federal legislation pertaining to “greening” to the attentions of GGEC members with action email alerts.

This sub-committee is made up of a representative form each of the sub-committees. It provides leadership and continuity; ensures that GGEC is working strategically to achieve our mission; and that monthly GGEC meetings are inclusive, productive and doable.

This sub-committee is involved in identifying and applying for grants and other fundraising effort, and managing the finances of the GGEC.

This sub-committee develops and implements GGEC’s public relations strategy and messaging for the press including event promotion.
